Just passed my driving test! Got sick due to lack of sleep and cold weather.Felt well enough to watch the last installment of the Harry Potter movies!

Week 28/52 – Hawkesbury River

Took a short sunday trip to the Hawkesbury River. Had lunch at Dangar Island. Will definitely look into staying here for a long weekend. It’s peaceful and quiet. Love being by the river.

Found an american diner called Jazz Diner and had lovely diner styled food. Waffles and friend chicken with maple syrup. What can be more southern than that?Had dinner at the fancy Hilton Glass Restaurant with Ricky, Cherie and Jonathan. Very pricey but had staff rates. A weekend of feasting. Time to hit the gym tomorrow.

Spent Sunday at Manly beach where hundreds of people were out enjoying the warm winter sun. Some of them were even surfing and swimming! A bit too cold for me, thank you. Found a nice burger place and had Ben and Jerry’s sundaes! I was also asked to pose in a group for a centerfold of a local magazine! It was three hours of work. But fairly fun.BTW I lost the cap I was wearing

Winter = cold. Have to wear my bathrobe after having a shower….

It’s the queen’s birthday! Long weekend! Went and saw X-men : First Class. Loved it. Slept in on all days. Now New South Wales have to wait till october for another long weekend. Luckily we’re heading to Perth in July!

It’s full on winter here now and I don’t feel like going to work :pBut alas I have to. The VIvid Sydey Festival is on so I managed to shoot some pics over the weekend. Have a great week.

You may or may not know that one of my favourite programs is Glee. Now I know that some people act hysterically when it comes to Glee. I just enjoy the one hour of escapism when the Glee Kids perform their songs, the teacher Will Shuster teaches some lesson about self acceptance, but I really love the antics of Coach Sue Sylvester as she plots the Glee Club’s demise. Well winter is here and I now have to wear coats when I head outdoors. I love wearing coats but the novelty will wear off in a couple of weeks as the temperature drops further. Funnily enough, I was thinking of San Francisco when I was visiting in July 2009 and found the temperatures similar to that of Sydney in winter… Have a great week!
